Early level goal found in development files for Yoshi’s Island. Yoshi would have needed to Ground Pound the pump on the left to pump air into the glass tube to receive some kind of prize. If the amount of air was proportional to the height from which Yoshi Ground Pounded the pump, this would have been similar to how goals function in Donkey Kong Country 2, where falling from a higher place earns a better reward.
In the finished game, the goal challenge is timing-related instead, with an active cursor circling through a ring of items and Yoshi needing to jump through the ring to stop it.

In the Art of Super Mario Odyssey book, a storyboard image for the cutscene where Cappy tells Mario about the Odyssey phrases it as “an old Odyssey”, which implies one of two things:
-Either all Bonneter airships are “Odysseys”, as the Odyssey is identified in-game as a Bonneter airship;
-or an “Odyssey” is a specific class or model of Bonneter airship, which would explain why it looks slightly different from all other airships seen in the game.
In either scenario, the phrasing implies that Odysseys are mass-produced or at least, that the Odyssey is not unique.

In Super Paper Mario, the model for Mario’s 8-bit form assumed when he obtains a Mega Star actually has depth in 3D. This is impossible to see in-game as Mario cannot go into 3D mode while the Mega Star is active.
